Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of I Do & Snap ("we", "us", "our") and the wedding photo-sharing service available at idoandsnap.co.nz (the "Service"). By creating an album or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

I Do & Snap lets a couple create a private online album for their wedding. Guests scan a QR code or open a link to upload photos and videos from their own device — no app or account required — and the couple can view and download those uploads from a private gallery. Couples can choose a colour theme for their guest pages.

We offer two plans: Snap (photo & video sharing and gallery) and Snap & Guest Book, which also lets guests leave a name and message and gives the couple a downloadable PDF guest book keepsake.

2. Eligibility & your account

You must be at least 18 years old to purchase an album. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure and for all activity that happens under your account. Please let us know promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

3. Pricing & payment

Each plan is a one-off payment per event, with no subscription or recurring charges: Snap is $39 and Snap & Guest Book is $59. Payments are processed securely by Stripe; we do not store your full card details. Prices are in New Zealand dollars.

4. Refunds

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you are not happy with the Service, contact us within 30 days of purchase (and before your event) for a full refund. This is in addition to any rights you have under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.

5. Your content

You and your guests own the photos and videos uploaded to your album ("Content"). You grant us a limited licence to host, store, process and display that Content for the sole purpose of providing the Service to you.

You are responsible for the Content uploaded to your album, including ensuring you have the right to use it and that it does not breach anyone's rights. You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful, infringing, harmful or offensive material.

6. Album availability

Your private gallery stays live for 3 months after your wedding date. We recommend you download your full-resolution photos and videos before that period ends, as albums may be deleted afterwards. We will make reasonable efforts to remind you before your album expires.

7. Service availability

We work hard to keep the Service running smoothly, but it is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we are not responsible for issues caused by factors outside our control (such as venue wifi or a guest's device).

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid for your album. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be excluded under New Zealand law.

9. Privacy

Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continuing to use the Service means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand, and the New Zealand courts have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
